Full Job Description

Secret Clearance

CompTia A+ CE or above

2-4 years of experience required.
Demonstrate an understanding of Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) / Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) standards and appropriate Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) certifications.

1. Able to walk, climb up and down ladders and ship stairways, bend, stoop, lift and carry equipment weighing 50 pounds or less.
2. Assist in providing connectivity to either the NMCI network or legacy network.
3. Perform staging, delivery, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, de-installation and movement of equipment, and disassembly and reassembly of components and systems for each move (installing/removing cable/fiber, connections)
4. Install NMCI infrastructure cabling to allow for quick removal of cables in the event of an emergency or where permanent infrastructure is not possible
5. Provide NMCI field services and infrastructure support for ship and barge moves within the shipyard organization and moves within their assigned buildings and spaces.

REQUIRED- Valid DoD 8570: A+ CE Certification (could accept Network +CE Security +CE)
